Cairo NY Roads: 112/114 miOn my last major roadwalk in the town of Cairo, I laid out a route to the north of South Cairo along the border with neighboring Athens. This route covered the remaining potion of Indian Ridge and Rudolph Weir Jr. roads, crossing the town line for about half a mile. It also covered the majority of Sandy Plains Road, including an area above Sandy Plain itself with spectacular views of the town and mountains. Unfortunately the weather made for poor lighting conditions but that was hardly a deterrent to the day's walk.
