09-20-2019: Catskill NY

Recently, I've taken to walking through the centers of towns and villages in my areas. It's a far different feel than walking backroads and highways, and gives me a better appreciation for the human aspect of a place. Last Friday I walked through downtown Catskill NY, the largest town in Greene County and by far the most built-up area I've yet walked. I found the hustle of the town of 10,000 to be unexpectedly enjoyable, a far cry from the dead mountain towns to which I'm more accustomed. As such, most of this post consists of pictures of buildings, unlike the landscapes I usually take, although some images from a Saturday drive through eastern Otsego County are included at the end.
